Jmoore is a JOKE!!!! Promise you that. I was losing hope, now I'm getting confident. Jmoore has zero sources and IS rexvol of the recruiting forum.

To clarify my earlier post:

Since Gruden 3, I've said I had a source that told me this is a done deal. I really wish I could say my source but I can't. There was a meeting in Nashville 2 weeks ago between Hart, Cheek, Jim Haslam, and one other individual. This is where I received information that Gruden was a done deal. Tonight, I received more information from the same source that the deal is 8 years, $55 million and that it will be announced by Friday (Nov. 30) at the latest.

Great time to be a Vol.

Its easy to spot the people that see a trend and then hop in with "sources" once there is a lot of smoke for one particular candidate. I'm sure that is easy for anyone to spot besides those that look for anything at all to hang their hopes on. It may be Gruden, it may not be, but the real info will start dropping when the actual hire is about to drop. Hope any of this helps.

No one saw Dooley coming. I agree with you. Kiffin was outed a day or so before. Even sooner depending who you trusted.

There was Kiffin smoke, but I remember one of the local sports guys saying it was BS, because people were saying Monte was coming as well, and that was far fetched.

Kiffin was the biggest name to get in 2009. Much excitement when he was announced. Even more when the staff was announced. We need another Kiffin type hire, but without the trouble Kiffin brought. We need that spark again.

I think the question was more aimed at your logic, and thought structure, then whether or not it may or may not have been somewhat true. But someone always first has the thought that makes something reality, or it would not be.

Point being someone always knows. The same people who picked up DD in La are the same ones behind the Gruden push.
