The people demanding answers and getting indignant that more concrete details aren't being provided really need to chill.
Until a coaching decision is made, this is (of course) all speculation. Several folks have very publicly vouched for the veracity of this Gruden business, so it's fair to say they all have their own good reasons for believing what they believe. I highly doubt they would spread completely baseless information on VN - what purpose would that serve? They would gain nothing and likely suffer a lot of ridicule for rumor mongering. I suppose a troll could do the same thing to rile everyone up, but then none of the trusted folks giving bits of information are trolls.
I guess my bottom line is that you are free to believe whatever you want. If you feel like you're being misled or are not being provided with constant updates, you are more than welcome to find your own sources to quench your thirst. Nobody has an obligation to satisfy your demands, because much like me, you probably aren't bringing anything to the table but commentary about information given by others. I'm all for the responsible release of inside info, and I think there are about five or six people giving us their good faith answers about what is happening based on personal connections that happen to be more substantial than my own.
If things don't go exactly the way I expected them to, I guess it's my own fault for not having better resources. Take everything in and assign merit as you will, but the whining and complaining is lame.
Deal with it, people.
