My point was not that there is a requirement but just that if they are interviewing anyone else why they wouldn't necessarily announce. Just another scenario.

Am I the only one that thinks there is no chance Al Golden is hired at UT? I think it's Gruden but if not Gruden I think it is a fairly successful HC with name recognition. If not Gruden, I would think it would be Stoops, maybe an off the radar guy that is in NFL as asst coach now, Rich Rod, Mora Jr. I think if it is a lower tier hire, it is Strong. I dont think it would be Golden at all, UT cant be that naive to think that would go over well.

I can confirm he was at this event last year for sure! Gave an awesome speech to the team before a big game!
