I say we just put some PGA or Vodka in it though. I usually only drink beer, but in this case I would "drink the Kool-Aid."

8 years at 54 Mil was exactly what I heard.

Granted this was all told me a couple weeks ago. The source and I remain firm on Gruden and the price. The staff we hope is true and I was 100% on that at first (spent $80 at the bar in celebration after breaking open my coveted Pappy 23) but both my source and I are cautious regarding the staff as we haven't heard anything since.

Gruden is coming.

I hope this goes down. I like the staff, good be a great thing, especially in recruiting.

Hey, up here in Illinois is a real hot bed for recruits. Haven't you seen the University of Illinois lately. Tearing it up......ok not so much

I got incredibly lucky. Pearson's in NW DC. Right after I got my job in DC, I overheard our CFO saying he had been on a wait list for 9 months to get a bottle for his uncle (he drinks gin). However his uncle got a bottle beforehand so he called Pearson's and told them he no longer wanted it. I spit my coffee out and told him to call them back so I could snatch it.

Stuff has become damn near impossible to find.

Okay, this is my first "insider info" post, so please cut me some slack - it may be rough.

I think I'm supposed to start with the fact that I'm not sure I should post this, and you have no reason to believe me, so you can take it or leave it, but anyway... My wife is a dental hygienist in the Cincinnati area and the dentist she works for is from East TN and graduated from UT dental school. Anyway, a patient of theirs who works high on the chain of command for Pilot was in today and told them that it's pretty much a done deal and has heard this from Haslam.

I never thought I'd get to have one of these posts. Doesn't feel as special as I thought it would. Maybe because the info is sketchy, at best. My wife thought she has some hot info until I broke it to her that there are hundreds of posts with this same kind of info. Man, I wish we had some real data.

54 million over 8 years huh??

We will be paying our coach per year as much as Chris Petersen, Kevin Sumlin, and Will Muschamp makes in a year combined. We would have enough left over to buy a small 18 acre compound with a 6 BR house in Gatlingurg.

Sounds like a hell of a deal to me for a coach without a single college win as a HC. God I hope this does not blow up in our faces. If this hire fails, it could actually end UT football.

That stuff is super hard to find. All vintages. My local shop has had it in the past, but it's usually sold before they put it on the shelf when they get it.
