54 million over 8 years huh??

We will be paying our coach per year as much as Chris Petersen, Kevin Sumlin, and Will Muschamp makes in a year combined. We would have enough left over to buy a small 18 acre compound with a 6 BR house in Gatlingurg.

Sounds like a hell of a deal to me for a coach without a single college win as a HC. God I hope this does not blow up in our faces. If this hire fails, it could actually end UT football.

Yeah he isn't too well liked here although he had them doing better than they have in a while and recruited fairly well. But they decided to run him off.

Them people should be worried if we don't spend the money and hire another coach not equipped to win in the toughest conference in America, then you will have lost the money people,the average fan base and tons of revenue. They talk about risk, the real risk is going cheap coach can't turn it around and lose more revenue and dig a hole that nobody will want to deal with. If I'm going to lose I'm going down SWINGING not backpedling hoping to yet catch lightning in a bottle. We have the fans we have support from alumni we need the AD to show some stones, we are behind you win or lose if you do, but if not you lose them!! I chose to believe Hart is the right until he proves me wrong. GO VOLS GET GRUDEN!! WE WANT GRUDEN!!:rock:

Can you imagine the hate from hiring Zook back to TENNESSEE ? I can and I am not sure Gruden would cover that .


Some of us are UT fans first , after the play book fiasco , not sure Zook would be safe . Not threatening just realistic.
