That one and the band trashing a hotel in Memphis got us threatened not to get to go to the Bowl game(like their were alot of bowl games but I digress)

Thus the confusion.

At this point I will choose to believe Gruden is still coming, or at least there is a strong likelihood they will get this done. Boro is definitely right, there is information in all different directions and I am having a hard time trusting any "recent" information and choose to revert back to information that has yet to be refuted.

The good news about yesterday is that at some point there was finally a consensus among all media/booster sources that Gruden was very much in play and that talks were going on. That had not happened until yesterday.

In fact, Hubbs, Hyams, Rucker, and Ainge at some point all said something flat out wrong before yesterday. We also have now confirmed that the Mike & Mike decline AND the Hubbs declines, were just coach speak by Gruden.

The craziest part of this whole deal is that the best media head so far has been Basilio. He's actually made sense and foreshadowed some events. In a very very distant second is Clay Travis.

When those two are the top two, you know this thing is a certified $hit show.

B will have to answer, but I doubt it. People have no idea how many boosters the AD actually has. There are hundreds that contribute a poop ton of cash to the program.

they have been very close on the time line and even called the roller coaster ride we are currently on.

No. You are the second or third guy to get that from my post. Sorry if I was unclear.

I'm solid on what I have been told and who told me. Nothing has changed my mind.

But info has become scarce as this all comes together, and I'm not sure I'd believe anything I was told right now without multiple verifications. There is a lot of disinformation, or simply bad information floating around right now.

Its very believable. He is new to recruiting and needs very good, knowledgeable Coach's that have coached in college and can help him ease his way into it. Im fine with the 5 mil for coach's but do like Kiffin did and take less money for yourself, atleast initially and get the best damn assistant's possible. He doesnt need money and 7 mill is alot of damn money. He would be just fine with 5 mill, especially in TN which is a low cost of living area and no sales tax. If indeed he has 8 yrs 58 mill on the table then that just seems high. But Peyton, Ergen and Haslam are fronting most of it then its win, win for UT. Really ready for Fri, if thats the real day and get this over and land some big time recruits.

Tony gets kicked a lot but if you read between his ADD lines you can get real gems. Again he called Kiffin to Tennessee when everyone was saying no way.
