Actually it lines up almost perfectly with what carter posted earlier. On the media angle, if Hubbs/Hyams were "right" yesterday, then almost everything they've been saying before yesterday was wrong. They said all along there was no way it would be Gruden, and suddenly they're saying that maybe it could have been Gruden but "something" (it remains to be seen what something or how bad a something) made him "cancel" a meeting, with no further elaboration. Sure sounds to me like they were being fed complete BS all along until yesterday, when suddenly they were intentionally given one nugget that had some truth in it, although the significance of that nugget remains to be determined. So "don't believe anything you hear" sounds like pretty good advice to me.

Boro, whatever the outcome I and many on here thank you for the info you provided. I have nothing but respect for you and how you have interacted with all of us. Thanks again and I have enjoyed reading your post's.

This is also what I think. Gruden doesn't want it to appear that it's be a done deal, so all this "something broke down, is giving the impression that it's still in the works. That may be why Hart is so lackadaisical about the search. Hart's not a good actor.

Not idiots, but definitely a very sarcastic bunch....(ee ss e nnet, "That way? That way?", mooing when entering Gate 21). That being said, as a former member of the Pride, I would never assume that folks outside of the POTS would be party to our episodes of sarcasm and snarkiness toward the cheerleaders and younger members of the group. I'm a proud alumni of the Pride, but the Pride of that era was very much in to mind games because that's what worked for Doc. It is what it is, not complaining about it since those times were very good for the band.

If something happened at the last minute I think you would see a mad scramble by Hart. I'm not seeing that.

I wouldn't worry about XIII too much. If and that's a big IF there is any inclination that Al Golden did interview today (possible), we'll burn through XIII before midnight.

I believe with everything that I have that Al Golden is being interviewed today.

The AD obviously fed that to the media for a reason. And they will follow through.

...do I need to say it?
