That's a comical post. If it did go wrong at last minute then, which he admits is possible, hubbs/JimmyH were correct yesterday.
Actually it lines up almost perfectly with what carter posted earlier. On the media angle, if Hubbs/Hyams were "right" yesterday, then almost everything they've been saying before yesterday was wrong. They said all along there was no way it would be Gruden, and suddenly they're saying that maybe it could have been Gruden but "something" (it remains to be seen what something or how bad a something) made him "cancel" a meeting, with no further elaboration. Sure sounds to me like they were being fed complete BS all along until yesterday, when suddenly they were intentionally given one nugget that had some truth in it, although the significance of that nugget remains to be determined. So "don't believe anything you hear" sounds like pretty good advice to me.
