Bcarter, I use to vacation every year in Cherry Grove. We would charter a boat every year with Captain Chris Long. Longway Charters. Last time we went, caught a 6.5 ft shark 200 yards off shore, right beside the Cherry Grove pier. Not sure if it was a Bull or Blacktip. Loved it!

They found a 12-15' bull shark in the channel in cherry grove this year. It's on youtube. pretty cool

Here is my only problem with Gruden. I don't see this as his end his career job! I think he would get back into the NFL within 5 yrs and we are back to square one.

I'll take him for five years as long as he don't pull a Kiffin. In five years under Kiffin our talent would attract every HC in the country.

I don't think so. In previous conversations I've had people tell me that LaMonte was a part of the Urban Meyer situation at OSU. He isn't Meyer's agent, but he was some how involved. Rumor was that he was really upset about how early the Meyer info leaked.

I cannot vouch for the veracity, but it is something I heard very, very early. I think they are obsessed with controlling the flow of info.

There were some that weren't too shocked when the info started pouring out of Memphis on Tuesday night.

Interesting.....one of my first thoughts y'day when the info leaked that Gruden had "turned down" the offer was that it could be a play from either side to cool the media attention and allow things to progress without "as much" speculation.

But I'm just over this.....I'm "trying" not to get too caught up in this mess anymore.

If he helps restore our program to where it belongs then that changes things. Right now we are not in a good place. 5 successful years with Gruden at the helm would be awesome.

I flyfish a couple of areas near the dam and close to the bridge in Clinton. The area near the bridge (next to the prison) was described as teh "best fly fishing in the state of Tennessee" by the Orvis guide in Sevierville.
