If Hargris' source is someone Gruden contacted about being an assistant, it seems like that should narrow down the list a lot. Anyone care to speculate as to who his source is? Tee Martin? Jay Graham?

Sorry just checking. He is one of the few I trust. Have a feeling we will have to wait for a while unfortunately to see how this plays out. I still do think there is chance though......

When a coach is named and it is not Gruden... I will say it's over...........

but even then I must admit I look for him to jump up from behind the crowd and say gotcha LOL


I never count my chickens untill they hatch, and never say something is over untill it is

Of course I didn't wanna keep Dooley. The whole Gruden thing was excitement this fanbase hasn't had in forever so people got very passionate over it. Some more than others but it was fun. Their are some good coaches and I hope like hell this AD doesn't screw it up but their isn't another coach that will create the same excitement as Gruden. Imo Stoops was and is as big a pipe dream as Gruden. Now that we gotta be realistic, go get Strong. Great coach, knows the SEC, knows defense and has proven he can.win as a HC. Just bring a great staff with you!

The said thing is right now no other coach I can think of excites me as much as Gruden (no homo). In the end they might do well or even better than he might of if we give them time but time/patience is not something UT Football has right now. Gruden would bring instant excitement. Not sure anyone else does.
