Sandy, believe or not I actually heard someone inside the AD float this suggestion yesterday. I don't really pay attention to them right now bc they've been so far out of the loop. But to them it makes more sense than the notion he was actually a real candidate.

Wondering if someone got word that TFP was going to release that article and called a meeting and people got chewed out and the misdirection plan was put into place. LOL I know sounds crazy but wouldn't surprise me.

I think the misdirection was ready to implement whenever the story got too hot. Also when did we start hearing about the presser that didn't happen on Friday? Was it shortly after the awkward interview with Gruden on Mike and Mike?

I like it just one correction. Tarzan will consume the sticky banana or Jane will ensure no sticky bananas for Tarzan.

I'm on the Gruden train until I see someone else at the podium.

That said, I would be ecstatic to get Patterson. He's not as splashy of a hire as Gruden, but he may ultimately be a better long term choice.

I honsetly believe that Gary Patterson is the one coach we could hire (outside Gruden) who could match up with Saban on gameday and give him all he wants. I live in Fort Worth and absolutely love the way his team plays.

And before anybody starts it, the drug stuff was way, way overblown in the media.
