But when exact details (and I mean EXACT details) of things started getting out to general public... and the parties involved got wind of this from a friend of a friend, or a kid's friend, etc. Sh*t literally hit the fan. Some of the trails led back to "oh i read it on VN."

So. Bogus stories were leaked. These stories were designed to be leaked through different channels. These were typically minor news items related to JG, but the details in each one were changed just enough to know where it came from. The ones that got out, they could trace down through the chain and see where the hole or mole was. Many of these holes have now been plugged. This is a typical way to find a corporate leak. There are still a few that they can't track down. Don't know if they will ever find them (you know who you are ;) )

I'm telling you, all parties involved in the JG deal (as well as some other coaches camps) know about VN. A lot of sensitive information came through here. A LOT. No joke. I'm not saying someone is monitoring this site for IP addresses or anything. They just monitor to know what news is leaking and where to go to fix it.

What scares me is that Hart would waltz Golden in here to be our next HC of our beloved Vols. I hope I am wrong but Golden has dropped out of the press conversations for the most part right along with Gruden. Surely Hart is not this stupid, is he?????????????????

Announcing Golden as HC would result in emergency room admissions going through the roof in at least two states... One out of anger, the other out of joy....

Are they really serious? Any plausible outcome has been suggested or posted here. There 4000 people on this site at a time. The villagers need to understand the purpose of this forum. If anything leaked, in the end that rests.on there shoulders. What did u think gruden is just another regular hire and people were gonna ignore. Either the university or hart screwed this pr thing up not the fanbase. Now.they want to turn it around on normal people, obviously u should not tell people, not directly and.i.mean directly ,to people u cannot trust. This.whole thing is a pr nightmare for the university because they are not using there brains with such a high profile hire like this.

Now I know Grudens agent has said he wasn't coming....but has gruden himself made it known to everyone that he isn't interested and has no intent to coach the vols???

It was breaking new's on espn friday, said gruden say's no to tennessee, if straight from him i'm not sure, may have been based on his agent

If he truly wasn't in play considering his connections to East Tennessee I believe he would have released a statement the day after everything went "wrong" allegedly. He would have shown East Tennessee some love and helped us move on.
