I hunted for an old barn here for building and selling projects, but the asking prices are ridiculous.

People watch tv shows and get an inflated opinion on what they are worth. Retail they bring good money, but the wholesale side is a different animal and that is what a raw barn is, a wholesale item until it processed and changes hands a couple of times.

Sure, maybe they can't "make" you turn in your phone. TN is an "at will" state for hiring and firing. To work for the big boys and girls, you have to "play well with others".

Any smart, large organization knows how to handle HR within (technical) legal bounds and with great persuasion. If the AD says to hand in your phone in order to cap press leaks for a hire, and your livelihood and future career is tied to employment with said AD, you are going to hand in your phone and not worry about it.

We're not talking Flint Michigan or political scandal coverups... just the (most important) coaching announcement (in the history of the UTAD).
