As I'm sure most of you would agree, my problem with Schiano is that he was linked to the Sandusky scandal, now he may be completely innocent and turn out to be a great coach, but I do not want a coach that is even remotely connected to that situation. I do not want it to tarnish our program too. Can you imagine the implications that would most likely have on recruiting and our already fragile image. It would always come up in the media, other fanbases, etc.

Not to mention Kirby Smart going “Hey parents of 5* recruit, that head coach was linked to the Penn State scandal”

I didnt feel the need to comment on this until now but Greg Schiano will not be hired or even looked at for UT. He failed his duty to humanity by knowing the horrors of Sandusky but not reporting them to the police. While I love smokescreens, this one is inappropriate.
