So any info on the sacking of Currie? My VFL cards riding on it.

Reported on 247 by an "insider" that Fulmer has been put in charge of the coaching search. Thought that firing Currie would be announced before Fulmer installed, but who knows? Not putting much stock in it at this point. But, that would also indicate Davenport may have switched sides from Haslam to the good guys.

After Schiano everyone looks better. Everyone wants stability quick and easy without realizing chaos is what makes it possible. War is necessary for peace.

War and violence are what protects the sheep. Most in here are the sheep dogs, a few sheep, and a few wolves (who can gtfo).

The sheep right now are ready to take Gundy and hibernate until the spring game.

The wolves have battered Vol syndrome and have no expectations anymore.

The sheep dogs are blowing up social media, email inbox's, screaming at anyone who will listen. They also haven't lost the belief that victory can be obtained.

This might be the last stand, the last chance to truly take and hold "The Hill." Is this a hill worth dying on....CURRAHEE

BS. If Peyton backed the Schiano hire, why was he calling Gundy last week?

Because he's Haslam's b!tch. That seems to be the real answer here. He did Haslam's bidding for the Schiano hire and he's helping him save face with Gundy.

This isn't about Currie at all. It's all about Haslam.

I'm not sure what to think about Peyton at this point.

Read it sounds like a crock....It is just a cover your backside piece....except for the Gundy interview...

Currie got blindsided? Tells me he ain't qualified to do the job...No offer to Frost, wonder why....

His intel should have told him that before he attempted to hire Schiano...

Dude. I'm not complaining because no, I'm not paying for it. I hardly ever comment on coaching salaries because of that reason. But compared to alot of other coaches, 8 million is stupid. It's double what he makes now. This of course is if the rumors are true.

It's stupid X 2.

As someone pointed out, that could be with incentives.

But what, in your opinion, would a Patone 151 wearing, mullet sporting Gundy be worth?

That is an inspiring speech!

Currie was just talking to Gundy today?

No and please no trying to figure it out. People's careers are on the line. They are not a Tennessee legislator but I would say powerful if Haslam had their cell number. I know this is not earth shattering but it is first hand straight out of his mouth. He seems to think we are stupid and he can bite me.

Wait......If the person is not a TN legislator then I don't see how Haslam would have any sway over that person. In fact that could backfire on him if he were to try some business dealings in said state and needed stat legislative approval.

Edit: disregard my post, I read your original post wrong, I thought it said a TN legislator, my bad

I like your post, but the absence of so many posters here tonight is concerning. I've emailed DiPietro 3 times today. Not finished. Woof. Woof.

Just a quick question and probably one of no importance other than for my own knowledge - But did T Boone Pickens recently buy a percentage of Pilot?

Yes, I brought that up many Roman numerals ago.

I got lambasted, because Haslam doesn't need money bad enough to be Picken's puppet.

But, he did buy some of it and will take over the majority share in several years.

Edit: Warren Buffet. Thanks GAVol.

IMO, if true, that is promising. Fulmer did spend alot of time with DiPietro over the last year or so.
