Does anyone remember Beav’s Greek Cassandra tweet? It’s a story of Cassandra who was cursed to speak true prophecies to those who didn’t believe.

He said he couldn’t last 3 months.

What if he’s told us things that were going to happen but are just now beginning to happen? Sounds crazy right? What if Ergan vs Haslam war is happening now? Behind the scenes and in front of our face! What if Greg Schiano hire was Peyton and others getting back at Schiano? They picked Mike Gundy cause they knew he’d say “No”. They’re buying time. What if Currie really will come out and look like a hero? What if he’s betraying Haslam, and he’s pooping his pants right now.

It was a Cold War between Boosters and Haslam when I first arrived. The Schiano hire was the first real shot fired that hit both sides hard.

All because Currie locked in on a clown; he stared his F'n receiver down and lost sight of the big picture.

I'm guessing that going after Schiano was a condition of his employment by Haslam. Which is sad.

Currie could have been a hero, if he had really gone after Gruden with booster backing and support of allowing the control that all championship coaches need.

If Gruden did not want to coach college and turned us down, then Currie would still be in a better place than he is now.

As it stands, he is in a very bad place, professionally.

Exactly why he hasn't been offered anything from UT. I read an article saying the Haslams don't know what it's like to be said "no" to. They can't handle it cause they've never dealt with it. So the Haslams fear Gruden.

I still seriously think Gruden was never offered anything!!!!! That's why his "Rocky top is a great song" and "never say never" comments matter!! He was throwing it out there. :crazy:

Exactly....any other hire has really been setup for failure before he even signs......just get Tee here not my choice....I'm all Gruden.....but can support Tee and could probably be a Lil more patient than I could any other coach....need to put a tourniquet on this arterial bleed, ruck up and keep moving forward.

The Chad Morris option is very real.

Gundy wasn't going to happen...and that plane can't fly at 37k feet like it filed for..it's fake.

All of a sudden every detail of this Gundy deal is released to the media..BS.

Now Currie/Haslam can go get their cheap puppet and say "well we tried the big hire and it didn't work out"

The fan base will not turn on Tee. He is not a home-run but he is one of our own. Honestly with the choice between Chad Morris and Tee, give me Tee. If I have to take a up and comer make it a VFL.
