Over/under on the average attendance next season, just based on what has happened since Sunday. Anyone?

If it's a Chad Morris hire, in the 95k range. But that's just it, we can scream we're pissed and we hate this and that, but in the end we truly are one of, if not the, most loyal fanbases in the country. It's a blessing and a curse. But no matter what, until that number dips lower, nothing will change.

The fan base will not turn on Tee. He is not a home-run but he is one of our own. Honestly with the choice between Chad Morris and Tee, give me Tee. If I have to take a up and comer make it a VFL.

Let me introduce you to Phil Fulmer.......

A large faction of this fanbase turned their back on a HOF coach who won a championship, two SEC championships and 75% of his games. Tee would be lucky to survive 3 years; plus, he's not what we need right now, VFL or not.

If 95,000 people show up to support a coach that is 13-22 - I don't care that it's Rice, we raised a stink over Schiano being 68-67 at Rutgers (yes Sandusky too, but for me it was the football record and his players in Tampa Bay hating him) - then we deserve to be the laughing stock of the SEC.

We need Vanderbilt-level attendance to get whoever is in charge, who really knows right, but to send that message.

Burn it down. We were first on the hiring clock and we sit here with our thumbs up our bums. Can't support that.

UTAD can't keep getting embarrassed from missing. We are digging deeper and deeper into this hole.

Only fix is fire Currie, who has missed 8,000 shots thus far, new AD (Blackburn), one call, one hire, Gruden is the salve to all wounds, media can't believe it, UT suddenly in the news for a good reason for the first time in 8 years, call it a day.

Whoever next AD is has to get it right on the first leak of news. We can't keep leaking we're getting X, Y, and Z candidates and keep missing.

Your word's nailed it. First time we are in the news in 8 years...We have been forgotten...I want to think chaos is a PR ploy to get us very visible before an outlandish hire. We really need to be seen on a national basis again. Its been a long time since the real UT has been relevant. Give me an explosion then a white knight or whale walking thru the smoke. Now that would get the attention of many more than just an ordinary announcement. I just can't get past the fact that JG has been to the Hill multiple times. Has said I love that song Rocky Top. Moved to Tennessee in a house owned by Haslam. His words on Mike and Mike that I love football and family. I would like to think that SchiaNo was a pawn to buy more time and get more exposure and that Gundy was a willing partner to do the same. I want to believe they are that smart but I have my doubts. But JG has not come out publicly like in 2012 and put the fire to rest. So the fire still burns in me that there is hope. Hope is the only thing that makes sense to me now. If news breaks tomorrow or Thursday that talks have resumed with JG and he signs Friday. Tennessee will be all the talk on Championship Weekend. Please God let this be true. Lol

I know you typed a lot more after this, but I'm only responding to this part. I NEVER said that I had info that could stop Haslam and Currie. Not once, much less "multiple times." If you were reading this thread all day and came away with that, I don't know what to tell you. You and anyone else can feel free to click my name and go back through my post history.

I appreciate you attempting to present a reasonable argument for people dragging me, you were much politer about it than others. But your fundamental premise is just wrong.

Does anyone remember Beav’s Greek Cassandra tweet? It’s a story of Cassandra who was cursed to speak true prophecies to those who didn’t believe.

What if he’s told us things that were going to happen but are just now beginning to happen? Sounds crazy right? What if Ergan vs Haslam war is happening now? Behind the scenes and in front of our face! What if Greg Schiano hire was Peyton and others getting back at Schiano? They picked Mike Gundy cause they knew he’d say “No”. They’re buying time. What if Currie really will come out and look like a hero? What if he’s betraying Haslam, and he’s pooping his pants right now.

Ok long time lurker here. I couldn’t help myself any longer. You’ve been very straight forward on everything and have been spot on as well. Do you have any information on what we can expect?

It's been a long day. Gotta regroup. The change is still in effect and, as I said last night, more people will be involved moving forward. Sure, there are still hurdles to overcome, but its much better. Expect everything to continue to be more publicized.
