Currie is still here because of President Joe/Chancellor Davenport, Haslams influence, and potential legal problems with Schiano MOU. We are working on getting a public signal from a BIG coach tomorrow to create enough pressure to oust Haslam and Currie. We don’t know if it will work yet but it is all hands on deck.

What do you mean a Public signal from Big coach tomorrow? Can you please share more. This cloak and dagger stuff is what is making fans more angry

No...even worse....

If 95,000 people show up to support a coach that is 13-22 - I don't care that it's Rice, we raised a stink over Schiano being 68-67 at Rutgers (yes Sandusky too, but for me it was the football record and his players in Tampa Bay hating him) - then we deserve to be the laughing stock of the SEC.

We need Vanderbilt-level attendance to get whoever is in charge, who really knows right, but to send that message.

Burn it down. We were first on the hiring clock and we sit here with our thumbs up our bums. Can't support that.

Precisely, but that level of attendance is not going to happen here unless it just gets so toxic it's unbearable, which I will say may occur if Currie is still around come January 1st. I don't think I've seen this much hatred centered at one man since the night Lane left.

Sound familiar?.:):)

Gruden on Golic & Wingo, "new" show, "Of course Mike, we've talked about this off air, I'd love to be Tennessee's coach but no one has called me", triumphant victory, meet you at the airport, let's have a parade and call it a day.

Will this happen on the Golic show?

Military folks..conduct BDA and Counterattack
Battle damage assessment:

We're in a much better spot that noon Sunday. Haslam has exposed himself and Currie and weakened their position. We have been placed on the defense but sustained a direct attack (Gundy) and survived relatively unscathed.

Their failure to break through the line has further weakened their forces and exposed their weaknesses. Their inability to close this out has left us a precious asset...time.

Counter Attack:

Phase 1: Gruden mentions UT in an interview tomorrow along with leaked media (Hargis).

Phase 2: Full assault to remove Currie in the next 12-18hrs

Phase 3: Insert CPF with an advisor (Blackburn) within 18-24hrs to conduct a HC search.

Phase 4: Within 24-48hrs announce a new HC.

Phase 5: Invite Hawkpilot and VN to celebrate

If it's a Chad Morris hire, in the 95k range. But that's just it, we can scream we're pissed and we hate this and that, but in the end we truly are one of, if not the, most loyal fanbases in the country. It's a blessing and a curse. But no matter what, until that number dips lower, nothing will change.

I was barely checked in this season until they fired Butch, hire another dud and I have better things/better games to watch for fall Saturdays.

Just to make sure everyone tweet @coachchadmorris and let him know VN doesn’t want him

Come on, this is ridiculous. He hasn't done anything wrong to you or UT, why would you drag him through this? Direct your anger at the real problem- Currie, haslam, Davenport, etc., but not Morris. Not right.

The big question is are Gruden and Paterson still on the table ???? We need somebody with a BIG name to stop all this.

Gruden will be on with Golic in the am. I’m guessing they’re attempting to get him to say something about being interested in coaching TN. All of a sudden ESPN, Fox, CBS is running with it, and Currie looks like a big idiot trying to hire Chad Morris or Dave Doeren when Jon Gruden just said he’d listen. Or whatever they get him to say...

Got it. They are talking about the mountain in NE GA. I've climbed it several times.

It was next to a training camp (Camp Toccoa) during WWII. Easy Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment ran that hill countless times during training.

"Three miles up! Three miles down!"
