That song to this day gives me chills at its choppy and rhythmic brilliance. Bands evolve and fans are dragged kicking and screaming, but that album was the high water mark with me.

Been to probably 7 or 8 Metallica concerts. Still extremely entertaining.

Saw them and GNR in concert with Faith No More in 1992. Best lineup ever

Faith No More! Was introduced to this band by We Care A Lot. Mike Patton took those guys to the next level. Mike Bordin was a truly underrated drummer!

Still basking in the orange glow of Phil's presser.

10 for 10 is not Les Miles money, IMO.

I think there's a short list Phil is looking at. I think Gruden is #1 on that list. I think the #2 name behind Gruden is better than Les Miles.

I think # 2 is David Cutcliff.

Anybody else think maybe the call to Miles was a courtesy call so to speak? Maybe like "Thanks for your interest, your a great coach and we would be lucky as heck to have you, but we have already hired our guy. Good luck to you in all your endeavors.":question:

Unlikely. He seems to be Phil's main focus right now.

Listen to Chris Cornell in the tribute album Temple of the Dog song Reach Down. He is and will always be the best.
