I view it as a good thing. Where Currie went charging after coaches one at a time and getting burned, perhaps Phil is taking the proper approach. It is clear that there are AT LEAST multiple coaches interested in our job. I hope Phil speaks to MANY candidates and then he chooses from the pool, instead of the coach choosing.

No doubt; however, IMO if we are working on a deal, we shouldn't be waiting on any of the coaches mentioned with the exception of Gruden.

The credibility of this post is diminished by the line "possible announcement on MNF". NO ONE would know if that is likely pre-deal. That would be a detail to be worked out after a deal was done.

Go back a bit and remember THE SUPPOSED Gruden requirement to have the coaching staff he wanted prior to committing.

I think IF they hire Les, his job will be to stay out of the way of Tee and help with defensive scheming. And try not to deplete the field of turf.

I don't think Miles has any defensive coaching experience. Has coached O-line, TE and OC prior to becoming HC. He was thought to meddle in the offensive play calling while at LSU too much, which is why he went through a few OC's. I think he left the defense alone. LSU was always a better defensive team then offensive. I wonder why.
