Welcome JFoley. The Gruden threads are like no other. Once you're settled in don't venture back out cause its scary in the other threads. Were you around for Gruden I in 2012? It was a blast until it wasn't.

I lurked in 2012, but decided to get actively involved this time. The rest of the board can be scary, but its so nice and homey in here.

I’m not liking Fuente behind Miles.

The implication is we'll get Miles if we ask. He's our floor right now. Which idc what everyone is saying, we would have 2 NC winning coaches of the last 20 years in our program. There are only 4 active coaches with titles to their name. If he surrounds himself with the best assistants money can buy, which he would as reports have indicated, we'd have a veritable all-star coaching team.

Re: a potential timeline. Granted, the timeline was blown to pieces by Currie’s actions last Sunday, but weren’t there some opinions that last Sunday was Gruden leak day, then he’d say goodbye on MNF, then presser Tuesday? I recall a quote like “leak-bye-hello” or somesuch...

If there was truth to that then, the logistics were certainly already worked out on Grudens end vis-a-vis espn, and thus it could now happen without the leaks today. If they’re meeting today, and it all works out, it’d be more like “remarry-bye-hello.”

This is true Ape dear. This is true. Part of the appeal is the randomness and conversations off topic. Hawk’s comments (I believe it was Hawk - sorry if I’m wrong) earlier about all the subjects we’ve learned about was spot on. Weird can definitely be wonderful!

Yes, me too.. I'm not a drinker, but I'm the one you can count on to drive you home safely... It takes all kinds on this thread! That's what makes it so great.
