money can't buy true unconditional love. it might buy a coach for ut but it wont buy unconditional love for the program like gruden or fulmer or majors or neyland had for the school and program. that is one of our biggest problems with this coaching hire if we don't get gruden.

Robert Neyland:
1925 Tennessee (Assistant Coach)
1926–1934 Tennessee (Head Coach)
1936–1940 Tennessee (Head Coach)
1946–1952 Tennessee (Head Coach)
1936–1941 Tennessee (AD)
1946–1962 Tennessee (AD)

Johnny Majors:

1957 Tennessee (Graduate Assistant)
1958-1959 Tennessee (RB Coach)
1977-1992 Tennessee (Head Coach)

Philip Fulmer:

1972-1973 Tennessee (Student Coach)
1980-1988 Tennessee (OL Coach)
1989-1992 Tennessee (OC/OL)
1992-2008 Tennessee (HC)

Jon Gruden:

1986-1987 Tennessee (Graduate Assistant)

Methinks y'all might be making a mountain out of a molehill when it comes to Gruden's love for the University and his massive amounts of time here. Just saying.

Doesn't matter, though....he's not coming.

Grude morning everybody! So are we up or down this morning on this rollercoaster we call The Gruden Grinder?

Since a lot of you are asking - my stance on Gruden/Coaching Search in Gernal:

I do still think Gruden is possible. Way to much contradicting information out there. Inside the AD there is a lot of conflicting info - from people who should know either way.

I think Strong is a real possibility as well.

Honestly, I still believe it's Gruden - but I will wait to see who is officially announced instead of trying to react to all of the noise.

I am hoping the mystery man they are interviewing is Gruden. Isn't there a mystery man?

They are in negotiations. Hart is trying to put together a list of potential candidates as an alternative to gruden. Volnation only wants gruden. Make the deal already. Any hire other than gruden will be a bust at this time. IMO jmo.

Dude is totally coming here. He is just like that girl who is playing hard to get in high school. After you spend enough time camped out in her front lawn she will eventually take you in, or call the sherriff.

High school was fun.

Good mourning Grudenville.
