Why support a team that loses and loses? I love tenn football but if u have the money to attend games, it aint frggin cheap. I like how all these strong(troll) supporters really think he will do something in the sec. Are u really serious, sure he can recruit, but that's not the point. Tennessee needs someone on the level of saban and miles. PERIOD. Do u want to compete with bama and lsu? Strong has no experience in sec. Which is 10x the level of what he does now. Iwill not waste my money unless i see improvement or a big name is hired. Any 2nd tier coach were in the same boat. We have waited more thrn a decade. I dont dont know about u but im tired of waiting...

The only way Hart can possibly salvage this trainwreck is if Gruden were to come out afterwards, publicly endorse Strong, and say he was acting as a "special consultant" to Hart at the request of his good friends Peyton Manning and Jimmy Haslam during this coaching search. That would be a plausible explanation for any meetings/talks that occurred between Hart and Gruden that got leaked during the process.

Just spit-balling.

I was all GRUDEN until 2 min. Ago!!! I just got a message from my niece she works at a law firm and Johnny majors is a client. Out of his mouth came Charlie strong is our next coach.

I support Gruden and Strong.

But Strong, according to people who actually have contacts, is the front runner. I was just letting the guy who asked what the latest was know what was said. Nothing more, nothing less.

He did win there, though. Bobby P is a disaster at recruiting but a great coach....no need to flame people...I know I am in the EXTREME minority with my like of BP...helluva motorcyclist, too

C'mon, don't call me 'bro'. I don't know you, and really don't mind that as I'm sure I wouldn't like you. I have a problem getting along with inferior/submissive people. Just been that way since birth.

If Strong were to be named Head Coach, I would quit supporting the Vols as well. That doesn't mean I wouldn't love the Tennessee Volunteers; it just means that I would be indifferent to the failures that would befall them while this group of Neanderthals were spearheading their journey towards irrelevancy.

She probably saw the same silly blurb on ESPN from Chris Low. And if Majors told them that, and then she blurbed it, she just violated attorney-client confidentiality on the part of her firm. Congratulations, she just bought her bosses an ethics complaint. :good!:
