Wow. i just took a stroll around VN. Read some posts. I figured there might be a lot of pro Strong sentiment and that I would probably feel a little better if that is the outcome. Not the case.

has anyone thought about the fact that jon gruden staying at mnf for the remainder of the season is great for ut football if, in fact, he does become the next coach? the extra exposure should be great for recruiting and i believe he is already recruiting for ut by way of telepathy. yes! telepathy! did any one catch the interview with rg3? he was recruiting for us in that interview, if you don't believe me then look it up and listen closely, if you don't get it that's fine not everyone will.

I've known girls to be that way but not women. I'll put it this way I'm 6'3 230 and my wife would kill me if I looked anything like that guy lol but she probably would had nothing to do with me if I did so....

I've been saying it for over a week now. It will either be Gruden announced sometime between thu-sat... or we'll end up with Fedora. I quote no sources, just some deductive reasoning from what I've read. I don't hate Fedora, but I'm afraid he would fall into category #1. But right now, I'm still leaning to #2.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell for the rest of this year.

Now, once the NFL gets into their off season, again depending on the ESPN clause, he might be able to go NFL. I have read that the clause is reported to be keeping him out of the NFL until 2016.

This is why the Vols are scratching the coaching itch everyone says he has.

Well it doesn’t work like that when choosing a president so that may where some get this idea that a African American student athlete might chose an African American coach.

Not trying to get into politics but I see you live in GA as well. I work with a lot of youth and you wouldn't believe what you hear coming out of their mouth about President Obama during the elections. This can only be learned from their surroundings and family. So yes, I don't agree with the scenario but can certainly see where people might think this.

Ladies, don't flame me for this, but women are supposedly more attracted to men with softer, more feminine features when they are off cycle, and are attracted to rugged/manlier features when on. I took psych 101, so I'm kind of an expert.

On the contrary, we learned that men are attracted to women whose faces look like an infant...not just young, but INFANT. And also attracted to women with a "slight underbite"...this is directly from psych 101

Gruden has confirmed that he is going to Tampa Bay on Sunday for the Celebration of the Superbowl team. This was confirmed last saturday(I believe). There has not been a lot of coverage and I can't find a lot of information on the subject.

Here is my question; is there any clause, or restriction that ESPN contracts, being in the Union, or being a commentator in the NFL which would/could keep you from attending other NFL games not contracted to work while still under contract with, say, a network like ESPN?

Ok, I find this very odd. I'm watching a youtube video of some dog going crazy. All the other related videos to the side are also dog videos. But right there in the middle of all of them is Jon Gruden on David Letterman. I will now continue to watch it for more signs... :)

Don't think so, commentators do it all the time. Schlereth was at the skins game a few weeks ago with former teammates receiving honors.
