In that case lets go for Dennis Allen. Proven DC in the NFL, he is young and good looking (good for recruiting), and he is familiar with recruiting down here with his experience at TX A&M.

That's a scary thought! And we were making fun of the Arkansas coaching circus. They literally hired every coach in division 1 besides Dooley before getting the coach they have now. I just hope they don't get the last laugh and we make a stupid hire.

everyone keeps talking about this interview that strong gave the press after listening to it i think strong is just expressing his disatisfaction in the fanbase not supporting the team and getting p/o'ed at the press for putting it out in the open that he might be interested in the Tennessee job before actually coming to him and asking him personally because that sounded more like im really mad at all these people that say im going to leave when in fact i absolutely love being at UL and im not going anywhere just my opinion because strong expresses his emotions like mike gundy.

When did Gruden 'publicly' turn down Tennessee? If he's talking to the Raiders while their current coach is attending his father's funeral that's just low down. I see several flaws in this story.

It's a very flawed story... Gruden never turned down the Tennessee job, his agent only said that there had been no communication between Gruden. his agent and Hart, personally.

And if Gruden is talking to the Raiders, I don't know what it's about... With all of the NFL rules issues with the "tampering" policy, it wouldn't make any sense, considering that it has been confirmed that Gruden has been talking with other coaches/assistants from around the league.
