The notion of not getting Strong or Gundy is not a good one because if that scenario happened it would appear that Tennessee would be starting over.

Maybe I'm just tired, but it's time Dave Hart gets this search done.

Maybe I've missed it for the last 30 min, but it seems "Strong is the TN coaching front runner" is no longer on the ESPN ticker. FWIW I know it was running on their about 2 hours ago for sure.

It was replaced by a report that says he may stay at Louisville.

Majors said the next head coach was going to be Strong. I was just wondering if it would be something he would know or if he is just like the rest of us and just guessing. I got a message yesterday with that info from a family member who talks to Johnny regularly.

Majors may have said "IT LOOKS LIKE it will be Strong," and it certainly did at that time. But, that would be entirely different from somebody saying that Johnny said conclusively "it WILL BE Strong."
