*OFFICIAL* March Madness Game Discussion Thread

So if anyone is watching the Murray St vs San Fran & is probably over 40, does the Jamaree Bouyea kid remind you of Tony White?!? The way he moves, his body type, and even his craftiness all has been feeling very nostalgic. My basketball hero growing up

I’m telling you Jamaree Bouyea is a Tony White clone… I’m not crazy am I? His body language, and the way he can hang in the air, how smooth he is… ANYONE??

What an awful possession out of a timeout
All these teams wait too long to start attacking. We do it sometimes too. Waiting until there’s 7-8 seconds left to start attacking is too late. In this case they had just over 9 seconds and still held the ball for a couple seconds before moving. That makes no sense.

Ok guys, need some of you to step up and cover my Orange absence tomorrow. I have to hit the road for a funeral for one of the best Uncles by marriage of all time. A good man, husband, father,,brother and friend. He and his wife have stepped in the void created when the wife and I both lost the last three of our parents 7 months apart in 09' and 10'. Always good to have some experience to rely on.

For the record he played in the same HS backfield with with a guy named Johnny Majors before heading off to the Korean War as a medical corpsman. We never failed to stop by their place in Franklin County when heading back to the wife's home territory in Lincoln County. He attended football games for years and we got to share some different generational experiences as Vols. Anyway, everybody VOL up a bit more tomorrow if you would. Just set the DVR and hope I want to see it upon my return.

I don’t believe KY is as good as people are (were) claiming. I feel like Tennessee and Arkansas are better because they play as a team, whereas KY has all these one-and-dones every year. Seems like I remember an early non-conference game where they had trouble with a vastly inferior opponent. They just don’t seem to have the chemistry, seem to play for themselves instead of each other.
Ah but they brought in a number of transfers. Still, it's hard to put the pieces together and get that chemistry/culture. One and ones, transfers...it is a challenge. To his credit, Barnes has established a culture and he's trying to get guys who fit and will flourish in it. It's clear he's missed on some of them, but so far one can't argue the results.
