Iowa vs. Tennessee - Game Summary - March 24, 2019 - ESPNHow much was our “blown lead” in our OT win against Iowa in 2019? Around 25 wasn’t it?
Spare me. I don’t care for either team but I get severely tired of people blaming poor play on referees all the time. It just gets old. Refs always play a part. But if you don’t think blowing a 25 point lead in 10 minutes ain’t choking, I can’t help you. That is an absolutely ridiculous statement to say it wasn’t a choke. That’s just justifying NC making all sorts of mistakes to let Baylor back in the game. Kudos to NC though for surviving an epic collapse.Baylor deserved that loss and the fans in this thread taking up for them need to take that L as well…choke job is was not lol
Just take the L… most ppl who watched the game don’t put their heads in the sand when the refs obviously took over in the second halfSpare me. Well I agree usually. You don’t come back from 25 down with 10 to go without severe help from the refsSpare me. NC was up 25 when they lost their best player on offense and defense to a flagrant two call. Giving up a run to a one seed isn’t surprising when your best player is sitting in the locker room.Just take the L… most ppl who watched the game don’t put their heads in the sand when the refs obviously took over in the second half
Agreed that wasn’t a flagrant 2 intentional, Baylor had a guy playing like crazy Rodman all game and he played all game. That bogus call changed the gameNC was up 25 when they lost their best player on offense and defense to a flagrant two call. No take your trash loser team back to the coal mines. Calipari is trash and I’m glad he will be your loser coach for the next 5 years or so.
UNC shot 10 more FTs then Baylor....made 5....they were in the bonus within 4 minutes of the start of the 2nd half...Manek decided to throw an elbow and it changed the momentum...refs were poor on both sides...Just take the L… most ppl who watched the game don’t put their heads in the sand when the refs obviously took over in the second half
That’s because Baylor was fouling lol the problem I have is ejecting a player for an unintentional elbow how do you not see the problem there?UNC shot 10 more FTs then Baylor....made 5....they were in the bonus within 4 minutes of the start of the 2nd half...Manek decided to throw an elbow and it changed the momentum...refs were poor on both sides...
Well sure they affected it. They were allowing some extremely physical play and NC didn’t adjust. But we evidently have some blind people on here who completely discount North Carolina’s ineptitude that last 10 minutes. Again I don’t care for either team and don’t care who won but to say that NC had nothing to do with that collapse and that it was all on the refs tells me that some folks don’t understand basketball. Or they hate a team just enough to only see what they want. Oh well I’m tired of trying to educate them. On to Michigan.Well I agree usually. Explain kicking out UNC’s leading scorer for an unintentional elbow? I guess I was blind to that blantant BSWell sure they affected it.
