Not impressed with a guy that shoots over 50% from the field and over 40% beyond the arc that can jump through the roof?

McLemore has played awful over the past few games, but that slump ought not blur how incredible the kid played over the majority of the season.

Personally, the knock on McLemore is that he is timid. I do not know if that is due to Self's system and Self reigning him in, or if it is just a maturation issue. But, McLemore has the ability to take almost any defender off the dribble or pull up for a mid-range jumper; he just rarely does so. Once he starts doing that (whether in the next round or in the NBA), he will be a superstar.

I'm actually surprised his stats are that good. His ability stands out above the pack but he never really seemed to get going when I watched (which might be an indictment on me for not watching KU enough). I think timid is a good description; if he sheds that he could be a force at the next level.

Yes, definitely timid. I would compare McLemore's athleticism to Paul Pierce pre-stabbing, and his shooting to Pierce post-stabbing. But, he lacks the mentality and attitude of someone with his skill set. He needs to feel insulted when he is not double-teamed. Instead, when he is covered by a man that he could easily beat off the dribble, he looks to pass first.

Again, I am not sure if this is just a part of Self's system, or this is McLemore, since Self has never had a guard of this caliber at KU (Ben is head and shoulders above Brandon Rush, Mario Chalmers, and Tyshawn Taylor), and Dee Brown and Deron Williams were freshman with Self.

SDSU's struggled with offensive execution lots this year, and the one thing they do really well - hold on to the ball - has faltered a bit this half.

UNC should be strong again next year.

Provided any body comes back. If they come back: top 5 team. If not, then Roy is going to be on the hot seat. And yest, I said the hot seat. Self has his lunch.

Wow just went from 96.3% to 88.6% on tourney challenge after that Florida win. Lets go SDSU.
