NAS played great. We didn't. Snuck out with a W.

Preds out played the Pens and also got out refed. Definitely optimistic re: gm 2 if they don't cave.

Play physical and the Pens won't be able to hang. They are not as good as they're being made out to be.

Only thing I'd say to that is every team we've played has tried to "out physical " us.

You had opportunities, gotta make em count.

The reality is these are two teams that play fairly similarly...NAS should have won.

They played GREAT defense, basically eliminated chances for 2 periods.

Problem is Murray was great, and Pittsburgh played great D as well, and it came down to a couple plays.

Should be a very entertaining series. Though I would say I was nervous considering the rest NAS had coming in.

Still... long way to go.

Hopefully that we got fvkked.. the goal was absolutely a goal, and the refs gave a 5 on 3 on a terribly missed call... NHL should be held accountable for that garbage.

They can but I think the preds can keep them at bay, kind of like we did early in the series against Chicago

Never really mentioned except to say Murray should have saved it. No one really saying it was a bad call. But I get it. I'd be salty too.

Well, I agree. I've seen it all season. They're gritty. But they'll have to play better to win this series.

NAS fans will probably be pissed about losing... granted... but no one watching this game will say "whoa, they're no match ".

NAS is good. And I have zero doubt that this series is far from over.

Good start, happy with result...3 more to go.

It's over if Nashville doesn't win game 2 and get the split in Pittsburgh. Crosby/Malkin will not blow a 2-0 lead.
