Official Nashville Predators Thread

They blew a 3-0 lead tonight.

I'm talking about a 2-0 series lead.

...and they did blow a 3-0 lead, only to come back and win. They have some type of intangible quality to consistently win games where they are outplayed. Normally I'm not big on nebulous "they just find a way to win games" type of comments but they have so consistently done it all year that there has to be something to it.

in other news, i do think the guy chunking the catfish on the ice being charged is total crap.

good for him that he got in with it, and got it tossed on the ice. thought it was funny. so should the PPD.

if anyone should be mad at anybody, they should be mad at the security crew that allowed the guy to get in with it. they search everybody, you can't tell me that thing didn't stink to high heaven.......

According to this article, he vacuum-sealed it. Pretty smart:

This will be a fun series. Drove 7 hours after the game to go to work this morning, and it was easily worth it. That was a blast, even with a loss.

Also, Pittsburgh is a beautiful city.

The catfish guy was in the section next to me. The fans were furious, they snitched on him so fast. It was a great troll job

First time I've ever heard that
If you ever get the opportunity... go. It's better than you think it is. I speak from my own experience.

Ok one that hasn't been in 27 years, and another once on a work trip.

Ok. Forget I brought it up. Jeez

I work with the guy that threw it out there. If I get the chance I'll post a pic with him.

I went 3 years ago; I agree with you, it was much better than I expected. I had always heard it was a dump.

and it was. and one of the reasons it's not, and this isn't necessarily a good thing, but as steel mills started closing and moving over seas, a lot of the older, industrial areas near downtown, have been been remade...don't get me wrong, it still has it's parts of the city i wouldn't go to, but all in all, it more than exceeded what my original expectation was.

my first trip was about 15 years ago, with my then girlfriend (she's from there), and since we've been married, and i get to go 3-4 times a year ever since, it's grown on me quite a bit.

don't know i could live there, winter sucks out loud, and lasts 6 months....but spring and summer....really is a nice city. coming out of the ft. pitt tunnel, and boom....you're there.

lots of character and culture (if you can believe it) up there...great food, good nightlife, and there's plenty to do...

back on topic, what do y'all think will be different tonight?

i for one don't see a 37 min shotless streak in our future....

aside from the result of game 1, what NAS did worked. wonder how much they'll try to change...conventional wisdom says even with the W, PIT has more to work on going forward...
