Official Nashville Predators Thread

Pull him. Let him play in Nashville, but pull him now. He's obviously incapable of playing in S***tsburg for whatever reason.

How the frick was that not a penalty just against Pitt?

The refs were all focused on the puck. In all likelihood, probably in expectation of a shot (not to mention a player with the puck and a player defending him pass right in front of the closest ref).

It should have been called, but the refs didn't see it...sort of like those old boxing matches or the situation of the "distracted referee" that professional wrestling sometimes exaggerates to make look somewhat real (granted that involves someone actually distracting/yelling at the referee in a one on one sense, but still).

Thank you. No conspiracy, bull**** but the on ice officials focus on the play.

It's like a different team shows up in Pittsburgh

That goes both ways. Said it after game two, same holds true after 4.

You can't win this in a couple games.

I'll go ahead and say if this game continues as is and we win, it'll go 7.

The ref was looking right at it too was the ridiculous part

It was right in front of him, but after the two went down his focus switched to the players with the puck behind the net crossing right in front of the ref, probably because he was the only one behind that net who would be able to see the new player(s) clearly (since then net obstructed the other refs).

It didn't help either that Crosby kept his left shoulder and arm down to obscure what he was doing from the other refs, though.

Just unreal how badly we're playing considering all the build up to the game.

To be fair, this is almost identical to the Penguins' last round series. Ottawa tied the series at 2-2 and everyone thought momentum might be shifting, and what did the Penguins do?

The next game in Pittsburgh, the Penguins absolutely throttled them 7-0 (which is somewhat insane for a hockey score).

Unfortunately, it might be that who we're playing is also a really, really good team...especially when at home and/or when their back is even somewhat against the wall.
