Picked up F Brandon Bollig and G Troy Grosenick for a 6th-round pick too. Two minor leaguers, though Bollig could be an enforcer

The Nashville Predators have acquired RW Ryan Hartman and a 2018 fifth-round pick from the Chicago Blackhawks. Chicago gets a 2018 first-round pick, a 2018 fourth-round pick and F Victor Ejdsell.

Not a fan of the trade really. A 3rd or 4th line player for a 1st rounder? Poile is smarter than that

He scored 19g a season ago. I just don't know where he fits in. Fisher takes Salomakis spot, but where does that leave Hartman?

Hartman is a 23 year old that can net 20 goals. He IS the first rounder.

I see a lot overvaluing a late first round pick. Guys like Tolvanen are a rarity. More Austin Watsons than Tolvanens by a very wide margin.

He has, you're right.

If you don't want to mess with it, Fisher will need another solid option on that fourth line, so he works there too.

Hartman - Fisher - Sissons can produce for sure.

Then you drop Watson whose one of our best checkers and penalty killer's. The depth is certainly nice to have though.

He hasn’t played nearly as well this year. Hopefully a change of scenery will help.

I get that it’s a late round 1st, Hartman himself was the 30th overall pick.
