I've really become a hockey fan this year. I've watched all the games thus far and I can't believe I looked down on the sport in the past. The game is pure excitement and speed pretty much nonstop and a lot more physical than football is nowadays. Still learning the rules everything but I love it. I just hate that I look like a bandwagon fan though. I really want to catch a game soon at Bridgestone, the environment seems electric on tv.

My question is how long does it typically take for prospects to come up from the minors? I see everyone talking about Eeli Tolvanen making his NHL debut after his season ends in the Russian league and how rare it is.

Usually takes a minute, but some prospects like Tolvanen and Laine make it up pretty quick.
