Official Nashville Predators Thread

I was wrong. This team has always shown up this season when they had to. Now it's on to Game 7. This game is the reason why we worked so hard all year for home ice. Don't waste a Great opportunity to advance.

Defense was incredible and Rinne was a wall. That’s how the Preds need to play to win game 7. Best game of the series and possibly the playoffs.

Both teams are incredibly even. I mean they were the #1 and #2 teams in the league this year for a reason. I think the season series is 6-5-1 in the Preds favor.

They were number 1 and 2? Hockey must be different. Shouldn't most 1 and 2 teams meet in conference finals ?

Vegas got to hand pick a good team? Guess I need to do a little research

Essentially, teams just got to protect a certain number of players but the players left unprotected were available for Vegas to choose from. There were certain stipulations but that is the gist of it. Its how they ended up taking players like 20+ goal scorer James Neal from us.

I honestly think that if we can JUST get past the Jets on Thursday then we will have taken out by far our biggest obstacle to a cup win. God Thursday can't come soon enough...

And when/if Seattle gets an expansion the NHL has said they'll use the same rules again.
