Official Nashville Predators Thread

I honestly think that if we can JUST get past the Jets on Thursday then we will have taken out by far our biggest obstacle to a cup win. God Thursday can't come soon enough...

Maybe...Tampa Bay is really good. They remind me a lot of Winnipeg. Vegas is no slouch either. I just want to
win Thursday.

Vegas got to hand pick a good team? Guess I need to do a little research

"Hand pick" would be an exaggeration but they got a really good deal. Better than any other expansion in recent memory has gotten. The existing teams were relatively limited in the number of their players they could shield from the expansion draft.

I thought right after the expansion draft they had a playoff team on paper. They got not only guys with talent but guys with lots of seasoning and experience.
They have multiple players who have made deep playoff runs and a goalie, despite being a headcase at times, who has won multiple Cups. The change of scenery, going to a new, more laid-back environment, seems to have lifted a huge weight off his shoulders and he can just play.

I did not think they would play this good though. I guess it makes more sense the more you think about it; they are a fairly talented team to begin with, and basically each individual on the team has a chip on their shoulder because they weren't shielded by their previous team. They all have a lot to prove.

Have to win this game first, but if Nashville moves on you have to think fatigue will play a factor in the WCF against Vegas. They've played 10 games, we'll have played 13. They also haven't played a game since May 6.

Pre-emptively looking to buy tickets for game 4 in Vegas. Wow.. they aren't cheap. Nor are hotels.

Evidently Irwin was hurt in practice yesterday and is questionable. Emelin would take his place if he can't go.

Fisher is confirmed out and Hartman will be back in the lineup.

Need yank to come in here and drop some good juju like he did before game 6 against Colorado.
