Official Nashville Predators Thread

I haven't been able to watch. Do we think Saros once healthy will be a major boost? Didn't know much about the backup other than he's been solid at other stops but has struggled with us.

Not really excited about the Saros contract, I'm afraid we saddled ourselves to goalie with his best already behind him.

What were the details about our going goalie in waiting in Milwaukee? He looked promising.

Tied it at 3 then give up 2 straight goals in 1 minute... 5-3 Kraken... I'm worried this team is gonna be an absolute bottom feeder

1 of only 2 teams left w/o a W.........we're well on our way. Worried about Saros, hoping at this point he's just not 100% and will get it clicking soon. If not I agree with @KB5252 that we may have unfortunately hitched our wagon to an aging horse.

Basically, After signing Saros to that big deal, Askarov basically demanded a trade, said he wasn't going to report to camp.

"On Aug. 23, the Predators traded Askarov with a third-round pick and Nolan Burke for center prospect David Edstrom, a first-round pick and goalie prospect Magnus Chrona."

The funny thing about dealing him to SJ is that while he obviously has a clearer path to a starting job there, Askarov is still in the AHL and behind Blackwood/Vanecek.

I love Juuse, but that contract is going to look really really bad in about 3 years.

He's been playing. He's good but I really don't understand the huge contract.

This team is GARBAGE

Yep..........made a lot of noise in the offseason......really thought it was going to be a nice push for the playoffs......guess that's out the door unless they just start clicking together.

Makes it worse that so many of these first few games are at home. Kinda dreading how many stinking Bruins are going to be at the Arena tonight. They blend in a bit so not easy to visually see. Hoping Preds don't give them much reason to get loud.

It's not my fault, I only offered up the Titans as a sacrifice to the sports gods in exchange for the Vols being good.

Good win tonight.....nice 3 game streak finally. Hoping the team is really starting to get together and get right. Monday here in Tampa is going to be a barn burner. Love to see 5 wins to get us back to .500.
