exactly...there is a big difference between shots on goal and actual scoring chances.

People just looking at the stats will not see the full picture. Our D forced Detroit out of the middle and the majority of their shots came from the outside or blue line.

Pekka is incredible, but our D needs one heck of an attaboy.

Because the friggin' Braves game ran over, SportSouth showed the game up until the eight-minute mark of the second...and then abruptly cut to the 1:31 mark of the 3rd period with the Preds up 2-1. Best network ever.

I tweeted this out when it happened...I don't understand how Erat gets three (can't remember who) to follow him but WTF was Howard thinking?? I'm glad it worked out but while I was watching it I was wondering, did he hear a whistle I didn't hear? Maybe he knew we were due a goal because of how we were robbed earlier but still...you're in a 2-1 hole at home and you're just going to leave the net?? Crazy

By the way, we likely don't come out of Detroit up 3-1 without the play of Klein...say what you want about his regular season...ahem...performance but he (and Pekka) are the reason they won game 3 and he had a big game 4 as well...I hope he doesn't leave this game in Detroit.

I stand corrected. Didn't know they re-aired playoff games.

Still can't believe we won both games in Detroit. Their fans must be stunned. It was hilarious to see them leaving early.

Taking one on the chin by taking my whole family tomorrow night, but they are all very excited. I think we are about 4 rows from the top, but it's still costing me @ $400.

I don't get it, Klein had a good season. He had a few bad games, but the guy is a good 2nd pairing defenseman. I mean, you don't finish top third in the league in goals against and penalty kill with bad 2nd pairing guys.

Detroit had 7 power plays and still couldnt score.....not because of defense, but 95% due to Rinne. Put anyone else in net for the Preds last night, Detroit wins that game imo.

Tickets have been pretty reasonable to this point in the series. There are still a few out there for less than 100, but yeah, prices skyrocketed.

Like I said, we may be on the very top row of the place, but I got the kids fired up about it by telling them we were put at the very top so we could see everything in the arena. They already have their jerseys and hats laid out

awesome...i wish I got tickets for this one. Game 1 and 2 were rocking, but I imagine tonight will be insane

Playing good defense will be imperative tonight (as it has been all series). You know Detroit will come out firing any and everything at Pekka since they're facing elimination.

Just have to play smart and not commit dumb penalties.
