Got to give props to Frankie Bouillon, he really has stepped his game up so far in the playoffs. He leads all players with a +6.

This also requires the Kings and Blues to finish out their series.

If the Canucks come back and other results hold, Nashville will play Vancouver. If the Sharks come back and other results hold, Nashville will play San Jose. If both come back or neither come back, Nashville will play the PHO/CHI winner.

And, for completeness sake, if Vancouver, STL, and Chicago win, Nashville plays STL.

Guys, find a way to get to a game if you haven't. I have been to many college and pro arenas and stadiums for different games, and attending a Preds game and taking it all in by getting down there early is a fantastic event. Live music right in front before the game or chill on a balcony right there. Live music between periods in the rink. My wife was going crazy last night and she knows squat about hockey. Preds marketing team is one of the best, imo.
If not the top, it's one of the most electric environments that I have been to.

Just watched the game from last night on DVR for the first time.

I was nervous in the last few seconds even though I knew the outcome. Crazy.

Had a prior engagement and missed last night's game, which absolutely killed me. To add to it, NHL's archive has a 48 hour blackout system (why can't every sport have their own MLB TV?), so all I have for now is the 11 minute condensed game. Either way, I couldn't be more proud of this team and I'm forcing myself to make it to a second round game.

Obviously the mods haven't a clue just how big this is for the Preds , beating the Red Wings in the playoffs and advancing.

I honesty think we have a good chance to win the cup.

Goaltending: we have the best of any team in the playoffs. Anytime Pekka is in net, we have a good chance to win.

Defense: we all know how good Weber and Suter are. Arguably the best defensive pair in the NHL. Josi is solid, and Klein is playing lights out right now.

Offense: We can be as dangerous as anybody in the league. Our first line has played decent, but not the way we know they can. Leggy stepped up and finally had his breakout game and Rads looked like he gained some confidence after game 5.

The good thing is that we have yet to put a full game together of our best hockey. We've had bits and pieces, but I'd like to see our first line step up and make some plays and put some pucks in the net.

Boullion, Klein, and Bourque have all stepped up and played great so far, and we need them to keep playing the high level of hockey that they are right now..and getting Gill back will be big for this team.

There's not much argument that can be made with these 2 points. Especially about Weber/Suter, they are without a doubt the best defensive duo in the NHL

I think there should be a "TN Pro Sports" forum. A place where we can actually make new threads for big news related to Preds, Titans, Grizzlies. Because, let's face it, those are the runaway most popular threads in their respective forums.

I understand that....

the point is that half of the traffic in each of those respective forums is in the TN team threads. So, it seems to me that there's enough demand for those teams to be consolidated into their own forum, since a vast majority of the posters on this site are from TN.
