Official Nashville Predators Thread

I don't think you guys gave Phoenix enough credit.......they did beat a healthy and very good Blackhawk team. Rinne just hadn't been able to cover up the defensive mistakes of Nashville this series IMO.

If we played with a sense of urgency like we do with an empty net during the final minutes, all the time, we'd be alright.

Well when you are in that position, you aren't really concerned with playing defense or containment.

Preds can bounce back at home, they play very well there

Preds fans, you guys are a funny type. Did you really think the yotes wouldn't win a few?
You know the answer to this......... Honestly they were fortunate in round 1 that Rinnie was standing on his head the entire series....not to take anything away from Nashville. In this series he seems human and the flaws and hiccups from the second and third defensive pairings have been magnified...they were there against detroit, but Rinnie made up for it. They go back to Nashville and can win a couple there and get the momentum back in their favor. Its not a lost cause as of right now....if you lose one at home, that is a different story.

If we lose one of the next two, we're done. We're in pretty hot water as it is, right now. The Grizzlies were supposed to turn my night around.

I'm VERY glad I went to sleep at halftime, or I would have not been able to go to sleep. I would have been fuming at both teams dropping the ball tonight, but ESPECIALLY the grizzlies, wtf?!?!?!?

We are 0-2 since Gil came back to play and our style/speed look overall different, and I fail to understand playing Colin Wilson when he has sat for a few weeks.

The Radulov move is also now in question due to his effort.

Hard to blame that one on Rinne, I mean when one of your own players gloves a puck and throws it in front of your net...Its not going to be your night.

Does anyone else see a difference in the way we have played with Gil getting a lot of time?
I know he's good, etc, but we look different with him out there and its not in a good way.

Did legwand ever say why he threw the puck in front of the net?

Dawn davenport retweeted something last night that said legwand gave an interview but I never heard what his reasoning was.
