Official NCAA D-I Men's Basketball Championship Game Thread

If you got two NBA coaches to take these teams and play them, it would be isolation for cousins nearly every play that isn't a fast break. Bledsoe is a better swing man than the current team has as well. Wall and Cousins single handedly could beat this team. Wall does it when the wizards win against 13 NBA players, Cousins does it constantly as well for a slightly better team.

Best team for an entire season? yes. But they would not win a seven game series against their older version.

Bledsoe is a PG, and is in no way a better swingman than Gilchrist.

Davis' game in the pro's isn't in the paint. he will average 14-18 points per game off of elbow jumpers and offensive rebounds. He will probably average a double/double and 5 blocks within 3 seasons, but will never be a Superstar IMO. Just solid as hell, and a player that NBA GM's would die to have on their squad.

Like I said, he will be a 3rd player on good team, maybe even a contender.

But I do not see him averaging a double double, he will have a harder time scoring than you think.

I agree, centers will push him out to ten feet, and I'm not sure he has the face up game. His points will have to come in transition, he runs the floor like a gazelle.

Yet he played shooting guard for that kentucky team.

I think Gilchrist is the best potential NBA prospect of all of cal's KY players, but I don't think comparing a forward to a guard is very fair.

Best player at each position

Point guard: Wall

Center: Cousins

Shooting Guard: Bledsoe (no natural shooting guard on either team really)

Power Forward: Davis

Small Forward: Gilchrist

Bench: 2010 group

Do you disagree with those at all?

Well Davis and Cousins are a wash. Patterson better than Jones.

All but the SG. I liked bledsoe don't get me wrong, but he was streaky and not a pure shooter. For a "team" aspect I'd rather have Lamb who is much more efficient at the position.

I agree in that for a team, lamb is better because he knows when not to shoot. but in terms of who could change a game, I think bledsoe has it. He does things for the clippers that I don't think lamb can do in the NBA. But, I agree that judging a sure fire NBA lottery player with a fringe lottery player isn't fair either.

Really the shooting guard position isn't one that we can say one is clearly better, but I think we can both agree that one of these two players would decide the game probably.

UK is so good I think they struggle to keep up the intensity down the stretch.

Kansas on the other hand has played each of their last 4 games like this. Not very good, the other team gets complacent but they just hang around. It's annoying to watch
