Official NCAA Selection Show Thread

A 6 seed? What a joke, so were at best the 24th best team this year? At worst we were a 5 IMO, a 4 would not have been unreasonable.

You can make love to ESPN/AP rankings all night but the committee doesn't care. UT went 6-6 against the Top 50 and 2-6 away from TBA. That's about 24th.

tough matchup. these are def. the 2 best 11 and 6 seeds. i would LOVED to played a team like butler or like temple or something

Be careful what you wish for.

Tennessee has lost to Butler and Temple in the last couple years. They're no pushovers

In the most polite way possible, this committee is the worst in history.
Also he said that VA Tech should be in the tournament.

specifically in instead of wake

and now they've got bobby knight who said the committee is not capable of judging basketball (or something along those lines)

Cool story. So tell us about that victory you had at home over Kentucky.

Do you not realize how moronic that question is? South Carolina beat UK also and they may not even get selected for the NIT!

2 games don't make a season. Tennessee went 2-6 against the top 50 away from TBA and that's why UT is a 6.

Once again, nice story. Now tell me why Maryland is a 4 and A&M is a 5. **** this bracket.

College GameNight on ESPN just completely ignored Tennessee, analyzed every game in the Midwest with the exception of SDSU-UT.

They say conf. tourney's count. TN got blasted by KY in semi's and dropped to a 6th seed.

Syracuse losses their final game - then loses in first round of conf. tourney - and they go from a first seed to a first seed and get to play the opening two rounds in NY.

What was it they said about conf. tourney games?
