Official NCAA Selection Show Thread

why cant a computer layout the seeding based on the RPI rating? Oh yeah, that's right the committee wont' be able to show their bias to their favorite teams.

They say conf. tourney's count. TN got blasted by KY in semi's and dropped to a 6th seed.

Syracuse losses their final game - then loses in first round of conf. tourney - and they go from a first seed to a first seed and get to play the opening two rounds in NY.

What was it they said about conf. tourney games?

How do you know we dropped?

So you think we were a 6 seed going into the SEC tourney?

I thought we were a four seed and I think that we held our own with 2 wins and a loss to the #2 team in the country. But I am not on the selection committee and unless you have some inside info, you don’t know that we dropped.

A few random thoughts....

I would expect a bunch of educational elitist to have a friggin clue how an S-curve is supposed to work or at least to have the requirements to watch more than one game a year from each team.

Dear Pitino - get your team ready for two games is all I ask.

Every bone in my body wants to pick Murray State over Vandy, which means Vandy will win by 30.

Baylor is good, but a 3? Really?

I really feel for Purdue. They go from legit Final Four contender to lucky to make it out of first weekend because of one injury. It's a cruel world sometimes.

I really don't like anyone in the South. Can I take 2 from the East or Midwest?

I can legitimately see the battle of Kansas round 4.

At least Tennessee gets a team shipped 3,000 miles to play. Hopefully we'll get the 12:20 game.

I like the underdog role. Tennessee in the 16.

Give me a Kansas/West Virginia final as of now.

Keep hanging your hat on 2 wins because it got you a 3rd place SEC East finish and a 6th seed in the tourney.

Which two you hanging your hat on? Those where you beat a 6th seed that went 2-6 yadda, yadda, yadda bullcrap.
