Official NFL Playoffs Thread

The better team is losing, Broncos get a huge break playing NE instead of the Colts.

Brady had great defenses Peyton's defenses have always sucked. How many rings does Brady have without those great D's? 0

The great defense is what I was implying when I said "built to win in the playoffs". I don't know how many rings he gets without those early defenses, but I know he hasn't won another one since they seemed to lose focus on dominating defense and turned into an offensive juggernaut.

If their records were even in the playoffs against each other then I would say the odds are even. But statistics favors Brady, easily. It's unfortunate but true.

those were different teams and different years.

they are virtually meaningless in the bigger scheme

Although they are short and white, Edleman and Amendola have a higher catch % of targets than Calvin Johnson (per Sports Science). Edleman may be an ex-QB, but so was Hines Ward. Bottom line is dude can ball. I agree that Brady doesn't have the weapons ideal for big numbers, but he still has a good supporting cast when you consider the team as a whole (the running game, OL, and D).

I just don't understand why pagano punts on 4th and inches and just gives it back to Brady. You're down by 3 TDs with just over 9 min left in the game.

He has a system that can work with a revolving cast of players. That is the genius of the Pats for the last decade +

Brady is integral but the organization/system is the story
