OB, how's your Mom?

Sorry. Been busy.

Initial testing indicated she had a stroke. After more testing and a neurologist looking over the results, he ruled out the stroke, Alzheimer's, and dementia.

Apparently her blood vessels in her brain are collapsing and causing a loss of blood to the brain.
(Hence stroke symptoms)

She goes home tomorrow and I'll be traveling to see her next Thursday. My birthday is next Saturday so I think she will enjoy it.

Prayers still with you and your mom brother.

That's a good report. What's causing her vessels to collapse?

The doctors aren't sure. On the 10th of November she goes to a neurologist that can hopefully shed some light.

Personally, I think it's her meds she is currently taking.
I have a pretty solid theory that I plan to prove while I'm there. And if I can prove it, well, I may need to take over her care.

Mom is not old by today's standards. 64. But, a car accident in '88 messed her up. 3 surgeries on her back and now disabled from it have whipped her pretty good.

I'm just beside my self right now Mcdad. I don't know whether I'm coming or going....

I completely understand. I remember caring for mom with terminal dementia and dad with pancreatic cancer in 2008. I remember very little about that year because I was under constant worry and under constant demand by others.
Stay strong, my friend. Considering the uncertainty in your own home coupled with your mom's health unknowns...all you can do is stay strong and pray.

Today's the day you tour and get a photo with some coaches, right?

Hoping I get to see the coaches and players. It's a behind the scenes look at neyland is what the actually deal is. Got the information in an email the other night. So not exactly what I was expecting.... But still excited none the less.
