Ob, I grew up here in East Tn. I sure never saw any big cats. Heard the stories from the old folks about them.

Now, coyotes are rampant and big cats making a come back. The big cats would make a nice deterrent to trespassers, tho. If I could just lure one in. Haha

This was western Tennessee. Shelby, Fayette, and Hardeman counties.

They said they didn't have any in the state of Arkansas either, but caught one about 6 miles from my place this past summer. Calves were found in trees.

I always figured they'd be in the mountains.

Calves in trees...must be an Erie sight.

Big cats and coyotes are getting bad in East Tennessee. If a farmer has livestock he better have a couple of jacks.

Send a resume to Grandvol. He will hire you just so he can fire you.

:whistling:

I already tried to hire him last year. I had him a spot on the field, right behind the UT bench when they played OU in Norman. But did he want to?

Nope. Negavol.

I never figured Ob to be a Negavol.

He may have thought the noise would hurt his ears or he may not have felt like walking all the way to the field, he isn't really fond of moving.

I mean, who on here can say they've been on the sidelines with UT...

And get paid for it?

Though I did get to have a little fun with a new member of the OU athletic staff tonight. She's a graduate of Bowling Green so I saw fit to remind her off the beating they took earlier this year.

Nothing like getting a client angry lol

Rumor was VA fish and game was introducing cougars on clinch mountain near Gate City. Most people didn't believe it, but more than one hunter found tracks and they said the deer and turkey tracks dropped off quick.

I took pictures for sports information when I was a student. I was on the field when Herschel Walker ran over Bill Bates, and almost got stepped on by Ralph Sampson. Didn't get paid even though some of my photos got published and I got to eat for free in the pressbox. Does that count?

Question GV, these on the sidelines....I've noticed they actually don't see the game. They face the spectators pretty much the whole time. Does one get into trouble for catching a glance of a play or the game?

I'll hang up and listen.

Unless you happen to be watching the bench area. Many are supposed to be watching the crowd, but there are a couple of spots that are watching the team areas as well.

But yes, you can get in trouble for watching...and recording...the game. As one of our employees got caught by our corporate office taking a video of an OU player running down the sideline. And of course, during a nationally televised game.

I ran a Benz last night. It stayed with me pretty good.

Once we broke triple digits he backed off.
