Hypothetical question though...if I said to VN, you can take 24-7 regular season, make the SECT championship game and lose, land a 4 seed and lose in the sweet 16....would you take that, or would you rather the season play out?

I'd take it but I'd kinda be disappointed because of the pontetial the team had. But I wouldn't be like "Farrr conzo :crazy:"

Play it out. This team has the makings of something special and I like Cuonzo in the clutch. We have the depth and upper classmen leadership. With this team, go for big money.

Anyone that chooses a sweet sixteen has a losers mentality......you don't play the game to make sweet 16, no one cuts down the net after losing in the sweet sixteen......,it would be a good season but not what our goal should be.

Shouldn't that be the goal for every team? No team is practicing thinking I hope we make the tourney or the sweet sixteen. Now that doesn't mean not achieving that goal is a bust, but that's everyone's goal at the beginning of the year.

This is exactly the correct way to think.....even wade Houston's five win tenn team, the goal was to win a championship.

I don't think there should be, the goal should always be the same. Why should our goal as fans differ from theirs? As I've said before not reaching it doesn't mean its a bust. Now if we are talking realistic expectations, that's a different story.
