To follow up on your point, Russell Wilson is a fine quarterback, but there is a vast gulf of experience at that position. It kind of reminds me of the 1994 Alabama game, when Peyton was making only his third start. Alabama, on the other hand, had Jay Barker, a senior, at the position, who already had about 35 games of experience under his belt. Peyton almost pulled it out in the end but that huge gap in experience at the most important position on the field made a difference in what proved to be a close game.

I doubt anybody read the article because nobody is freaking out about these stats:

Denver could have stopped scoring after its 35-28 win against the Chiefs in Week 13 and spent the final four weeks of the regular season delivering pizzas, and it still would have led the league in scoring by 19 points.

Those [2nd ranked] Bears averaged 27.8 points per game, 10.1 points per contest away from Denver. They were closer to the 30th-ranked offense of Tampa Bay (18.0 points per game) than they were to Denver.

Have any of you seen some of the dumb-ass questions asked on media day? I've had press passes before and, even in a lower grade pro tennis tournament, you had to submit your questions prior to asking them for approval. There is no way this is being done for SB media days.

Read it a day or two ago. Not sure if people truly appreciate how good this matchup is going to be. Top 5 all time offense vs. top 10 or so all time defense.

I remember some Latina reporter proposed to Brady during 2008 SB media days. I feel like the NFL tries to exaggerate everything.

Bad weather will suck and totally favor the Seahawks. I'm such a pessimist as a sports fan, so I expect to wake up Sunday to 3 feet of snow in NY. Seattle fans are such pessimists, so they probably expect 50 degrees and sunny

Peyton & the Broncos! Broncos win by 4 with Peyton throwing 3 TD's and 325 yards!
Broncos 28-24.

I want Seattle, but wouldn't mind whatsoever with Peyton winning another. It's just nice to finally have a Super Bowl where I don't just hate one or both teams. I hope it's a close, good game.

Same. Definitely pulling for Seattle, but there's at least a silver lining if they lose.

Denver by at least two TDs. Eli gave all the wind data to Peyton, so he's set.

It is getting close enough for the forecast to be close to right. Looks like cloudy, no chance of precip, less than 10 mph wind, and mid 30s.

The Hawks have a very good D. But the Denver D has been equally good in the playoffs. Especially when they beat down a Brady led O with the Patriots in their last game. Denver's run D has been pretty tough with Knighton anchoring the line and our VFL's helping out on each side of him. Wilson had the deer in the headlights look for most of the game against the 49ers. That long 4th down TD pass was plain azz lucky.

Denver by 10+. PM shuts the critics up one more time.

This Marshawn Lynch media stuff is annoying. If the man doesn't want to talk to the media, why are they forcing him? So stupid.

How are you GOOD people going to watch the game?

At a bar?
At a party?
Alone in the dark while nude?
Drunk?

Not trying to get ahead of myself, but if the Broncos win, Peyton will easily have the best resume in NFL history -

5 League MVPs
2 Super Bowls with 2 different teams
1 SB MVP (likely 2)
3 SB appearances with 3 different coaches
Video game stats

I don't want to get in an argument about, "so and so has more SBs, therefore he's the GOAT." I'm not saying this solidifies Manning as the GOAT, but it would be the best resume.

I'll be enjoying the game from Section 347 at MetLife. I fly out for NY tomorrow, and am beyond excited.

Seahawks D comes up with a score, Broncos (awful) defensive secondary gets beat deep on a play or two, and Lynch does his thing. Hawks 28-20.
