Damn a great vols weekend.

Two vols come from behind wins vs asu sun devils on the road.
Lady vols beat the darn uk wildcats.
And the vols beat the Missouri tigers easily to make it 3-0 vs tigers teams, and a great finish to the season with blowout division wins.

Yep, but he was here, part of the foundation. Without him and all of his complete games, we would have been worse last year.

The biggest difference imo between last year and this year is the relief guys not coming in and blowing games.

He was a huge part of the foundation. I bet he helped a lot of our guys get better at pitching. I am truly impressed with how our guys handle themselves on the mound. They don't get rattled often.

It's certainly time to move @Vol_Baseball into the Top 25 after the #Vols went to Tempe and took 2 of 3 from Arizona State. Now 14-1 on year

Okay I need to get a grip on what you're saying... Are you saying "Tennessee is a good baseball team" is homerism or talking down about us? Because clearly the other half of their statement is talking down about themselves, and 100% correct.

If that was all sarcasm, I apologize, and I agree. That free stream was one of the best I have ever seen, and the announcers were first class all the way. (You have to keep in mind these guys are announcing for the ASU fanbase, not us)

The quality of the live stream was definitely a pleasant surprise. Not as good as MLB.TV but much better than utsports.

So don't be surprised by the homerism.
It's like if your watch a white sox game on wgn don't be surprised by the white sox commentators not happy when the white sox lose.

I would say that plus experience.
Mostly veterans with 49ers when Harbaugh took over, and easily turned them around making them great in one season with the same roster.

When Serrano took over other than Osborn there wasn't a majority of veteran players.

I watched the last two games on the stream, so if the first one was bad I wouldn't know. However, they made mention several times of how good Simcox was. They talked about how good Andy Cox was this weekend. They made mention of Houser making good plays at the plate. I thought they were fairly good. I didn't expect the announcing to be neutral since it is ASU's crew. Like I said, I missed the first game so I wouldn't know about it.

I should have clarified. On Friday night they said repeatedly that our 12-0 record was the result of a soft schedule. Then they backpedalled after we took the series.

I'd say our weekday starters of the Martins and Marks are pretty damn good also. We have an excellent pitching staff from the Ace ( Nick Williams ) To the Closer ( Drake Owenby ). Everybody else in-between has done pretty good so far. I'm very happy with our performance.

I agree, certainly didn't mean to imply the mid-week guys weren't talented, they are. :good!:

My point was more about our starting pitcher lineup vs. our SEC schedule.
