As bad as we've played the last 2-days; Florida has not played like the #1 or #2 in country.

You know, I've never had a problem with the Florida baseball fans. Their drunken, obnoxious, nouveau riche football fans have had an air of, uh. Yankee Obnoxiousness and North Florida Redneck class.

I write that knowing the baseball parents and fans have thrown great coaches like Andy Lopez and Pat McMahon under the bus because they weren't playing enough local kids.

I certainly like them better than Vandy fans- the few that actually exist even now.

The ones that think they invented singing "Sweet Caroline" in the 8th inning.

Can you imagine how good Vandy would be with more and better fans and better facilities.

Although better, their stadium and the suburban high schoolish turf is still not what a top tier team should have and the administration is still not spending all the SEC Welfare Revenue-sharing on the athletes.

I don't know, I expected more from their pitching. their reputation was such that it would be the best or near best ever. We have a lot of dingers.

I also don't think they've been all that smart at the plate- albeit, better than us.

I think Knoxville would explode with excitement if Tennessee returned to mid-90s form.

We are so close. Lot's of talented local kids. Competing in a strong conference.

We need better weather and some exciting home wins with fewer midweek losses that non-baseball people don't understand is common even with good teams.

A 50-win season would set Tennessee up for a decade- and get the Todd Raleigh taste of longtime fans' mouths.
