I can't believe how bad this team fields, and Simcox percent isn't good either. Marks and Owenby have been pretty good until the defense lets them down, then they start breaking down. Unfortunately, the better fielders aren't hitting very well, but maybe they should be given a chance anyway. Right now, they are just beating themselves. And who is coaching the fielding? Anyone?

Sorry about the lapses today, life gets in the way sometimes.

We avoided the sweep on the road, that's good news. We've lost VJax and Cox, we don't know for how long, that's not good going forward.

Looks like I didn't miss much............hoping we would have come about better today. Oh well. It's going to be a process this year and we still have time. Let's just take it to Hoover and go from there.

You mentioned Jackson and Cox, what happened to Cox? any word on Jackson?

Jackson will have an MRI tomorrow, the commentators said ligaments, I'm guessing thumb just based on the way he slid into 2B yesterday...Cox has a strained oblique. Waiting to see if there's mention made in the post game.

Yeah, glad you represented though...After last night's game I was worried about the bull pen...I mean the best we had all pitched last night...now Cox is out. It got so out of hand, so quickly, today...

Since you were there, do you get any sense of the team dynamic, general mood...anything really?

I'm not normally a Monday morning qb, but after watching Kyle's excellent 1.2 innings Saturday, it's hard not to wonder what a Sunday start would have looked like. Of course, he got us out of a key jam on Saturday, so maybe that was just as important.
